What is it ?

HOW TO USE

Step 1: Shake product well before use.

Step 2: Apply a generous amount of formula along the lash line of your eye. We recommend 2-3 swipes. Ensure you take the liner all the way along your lash line to ensure the edge of your lash band sits firmly. You may also apply additional adhesive to the actual lash band itself for extra hold. Ensure you cover the tips of your lash band also.

Step 3: Ensure your eye area is clean and oil free. Products like eye creams and face oils can hinder the effect of Quick Lash. Allow 30 seconds for the liner adhesive to be absorbed into the skin properly before attaching your lash. Apply once liner feels tacky.

Step 4: Upon application, ensure you are pressing your lash band into place. As Quick Lash is a pressure sensitive adhesive, it does require a soft-medium pressure to be activated. Please remember Quick Lash is not like a magnetic eyeliner that bonds instantly, it does require pressure in order to work.

Step 5: We also recommend you ensure your lashes are trimmed to size. Lashes that are too large will lift up easily. Ensure you trim your lashes from the outside of the band, if lashes are trimmed from the inside, the curve of the band will be compromised which may cause lifting or discomfort.

To remove, use Flick Off! Cleanser and Makeup Remover or your favourite makeup remover.

HOW IS QUICK LASH DIFFERENT TO NORMAL GLUE?

Quick Lash utilises an ingredient called Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer which functions as a film forming agent to create what is known as PSA, or a pressure sensitive adhesive. There are many categories of adhesives (such as silicon, glue, cement etc) and whilst glue is one of them, it is not a pressure sensitive adhesive. Pressure Sensitive Adhesives are a type of non-reactive adhesives which form a bond when light pressure is applied with a surface. This is the bond that occurs when a false lash is applied to the formula of Quick Lash. PSA’s exhibit viscoelastic (viscous and elastic) properties and are removable, which is what allows Quick Lash to be re-stickable, so if you apply your lash incorrectly, you can remove it and reapply (without needing to add more adhesive).

Other categories of adhesives require a solvent, moisture, oxygen, radiation/UV or heat to cause a chemical reaction that activates the adhesive to form a permanent bond. It is within this category that glues (and lash glue) fall as their composition are structurally different to that of PSA as they are not based on an elastomer compound like pressure sensitive adhesives are.

Whilst this may sound like a lot of scientific gibberish, it is for these reasons we have not labelled Quick Lash as a glue, but rather as a Lash adhesive.

Amazing!
I could say it’s very beginning friendly.
I’m starting to use lashes and it really make it less measly and it’s a very nice deep black color so in case you don’t want to use it as lash adhesive you could easily use it as an eyeliner *BUT* you definitely should let it dry more than a regular eyeliner

My first impression was good!
I’ve tried so many things over the years, but the other day I purchased this liner adhesive and it’s the best thing I’ve tried yet. Comes in black or clear (I used the black because I love a winged liner). You draw it on and pop your lashes on top and you’re done.

Slightly Disappointed
First of all, it took several attempts to get the technique down. Second, I loved how natural the set of lashes I received were, but the actual lash line is NOT natural looking. So, if you got the clear liner like me, the lashes looked kinda silly. Lastly, the liner doesn't come off well. It traps any other makeup or mascara when removing your makeup and took too much rubbing / remover to take off. I'm no expert, but this could be a really great product for you, but just be aware of the learning curve for using them ! The picture was for my wedding makeup and I used the liner but NOT the lashes.

best yet
i finally found an eyelash glue that is dark brown, (so not hard looking on my pale skin) and actually holds the lashes in place all day, then lets me peel them off without losing some of my own lashes. the bonus is it doesn't leave a lot of residue on the false lashes ,so they last longer too.

The adhesive is not strong enough
The black eyeliner functions very well as an eyeliner - it’s dark black and rolls on ink well
The glue is not very grippy and I have to keep watching mirrors all day to check if the tails have come out. And it does come up at the tails at least 2x a day. I’ll have to top up the glue that I carry with me. If they can make it stronger this product is perfect because it’s very fast and easy eyelash application.
